B968 Learning Terms of Service – General – For all users on the platform
B968 Learning, (a division of MegMac Consulting Inc.), PO Box 3149 Garibaldi Highlands BC, is a company registered in British Columbia, Canada. By using the B968 Learning Platform (“Service”) or any and all services of B968 Learning, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”).
MegMac Consulting Inc. may update and change the Terms of Service from time to time and will notify you about significant changes before such changes come into force and give you a possibility to evaluate the effects of proposed changes. Any new features that augment or enhance the current Service, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your agreement to such changes. Violation of any of the Terms of Service will result in the termination of your Account. While MegMac Consulting Inc. prohibits conduct and content in violation of these Terms of Service, you understand and agree that MegMac Consulting Inc. cannot be responsible for the content posted on the Service and you nonetheless may be exposed to such materials. You agree to use the Service at your own risk.
Account Terms
- You must be a human. Accounts registered by “bots” or other automated methods are not permitted and will be deleted.
- You within your account must provide your legal full name, a valid email address, and any other information requested in order to complete the signup process.
- Your login may only be used by one person – a single login shared by multiple people is not permitted. You may create separate logins for as many people as you’d like within your plan.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Meg Mac Consulting Inc. cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
- You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account (even when content is posted by others who have accounts under your account).
- You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
Payment, Refunds, Upgrading, and Downgrading Terms
- A valid credit card is required for paying accounts.
- You are required to provide your credit card details and pay to be able to use a subscription plan for any of Meg Mac Consulting’s services.
- All plans are billed advance on a monthly or yearly recurring basis. Subscription Plan Payments are non-refundable.
- There are no refunds or credits for partial use of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for unused service with an open or closed account. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.
- All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities, except when otherwise required by mandatory law. You are responsible for payment of all such taxes, levies, or duties.
- For any upgrade or downgrade in membership level, your credit card that you provided will automatically be charged the new rate on your next billing cycle.
- Downgrading and or deleting your Service may cause the loss of content, features, or capacity of your Account. Meg Mac Consulting Inc. does not accept any liability for such loss.
Cancellation and Termination
- You are solely responsible for properly cancelling your account. You can cancel your account by providing us with 30 days notice from your next billing cycle date by email to hello@bungalow968.ca
- All access to our Service and membership site will be terminated immediately upon cancellation.
- If you cancel the Service before the end of your current paid up month, your cancellation will take effect on your next billing cycle date and you will not be charged again.
- Meg Mac Consulting Inc. can terminate or suspend accounts due to breach of these Terms of Service. Termination of the Service will result in the deactivation or deletion of your Account or your access to your Account, and the forfeiture and relinquishment of all content in your Account.
- Following termination of the Service, only aggregated and anonymized data will be kept by Meg Mac Consulting Inc. for the purpose of machine learning and statistics. Such data does not constitute personal data as defined in applicable privacy and data protection legislation.
Modifications to the Service and Prices
- Meg Mac Consulting Inc. reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof). Meg Mac Consulting Inc. will notify you about significant changes before such changes come into force and give you a possibility to evaluate the effects of proposed changes and take necessary measures. Notification will be given through the B968 Learning Platform, the Service itself, or by email.
- Prices of all Services, including but not limited to monthly subscription plan fees to the Service, are subject to change upon 30 days notice from Meg Mac Consulting Inc. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to the B968 Learning Platform, the Service itself, or by email.
- Meg Mac Consulting Inc. shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
Copyright and Content Ownership
- All content posted on the Service must comply with Canadian and International copyright laws.
- We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Service. Your profile and materials uploaded remain yours. However, by communicating in chats on the Service within our Community, you agree to allow others to view and share your communications.
- Meg Mac Consulting Inc. does not pre-screen user Content, but Meg Mac Consulting Inc. and its designee have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse or remove any Content that is available via the Service.
- The look and feel of the Service is copyright © 2024 Meg Mac Consulting Inc. All rights reserved. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML/CSS, program content or visual design elements without express written permission from Meg Mac Consulting Inc. General Conditions
- Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- Technical support is only provided to paying account holders and is only available via email or chat or as outlined in your subscription plan.
- You understand that Meg Mac Consulting Inc. uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Service.
- You must not modify, adapt or hack the Service or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Service, Meg Mac Consulting Inc., or any other Meg Mac Consulting Inc. service.
- You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without the express written permission by Meg Mac Consulting Inc.
- You agree to abide by the Community Guidelines as set out on the Service and agree that Meg Mac Consulting Inc. reserves the right to immediately terminate users of the Service who breach the Community Guidelines.
- You must not upload, post, host, or transmit unsolicited email, SMSs, or “spam” messages.
- You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
- Meg Mac Consulting Inc. does not warrant that (i) the service will meet your specific requirements, (ii) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable, (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the service will meet your expectations, or that (v) any errors in the Service will be corrected.
- You expressly understand and agree that Meg Mac Consulting Inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if Meg Mac Consulting Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; (iii) unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; (v) or any other matter relating to the service.
- Our Programs, Products, Services, and Program Materials are provided for informational and educational purposes only. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim any liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage that you or others may experience in connection with the use of our Programs, Products, Services, and Program Materials. This includes, without limitation, liability for accidents, delays, injuries, harm, damage, death, lost profits, interruptions to personal or business activities, misuse of information, physical or mental health issues, emotional or spiritual harm, loss of income, loss of business or contracts, anticipated savings, data loss, loss of goodwill, wasted time, or any other kind of loss or damage. This applies regardless of whether the cause is negligence, breach of contract, or any other reason, even if such loss or damage was foreseeable. You also acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any participant or user of our Programs, Products, Services, or Program Materials, including yourself.
- The failure of Meg Mac Consulting Inc. to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The Terms of Service constitutes the entire agreement between you and Meg Mac Consulting Inc. and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and Meg Mac Consulting Inc. (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).
- The Terms of Service, and legally binding agreement between yourself and Meg Mac Consulting Inc., shall be subject to Canadian law and British Columbia courts’ exclusive jurisdiction. British Columbia court shall be the agreed legal venue.
Eligibility
In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this service is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years of age or older. By accessing or using this service, you confirm that you are of legal age to use the service. If you are under the age of 18, you are prohibited from accessing or using this service. We take our obligation to protect the personal data of minors seriously and we do not knowingly collect or process personal data of individuals under the age of 18.

Trinidad was born and raised in southern Chile and came to Canada in 2021. She has a strong interest in community development, focusing on local talents and resources to create solutions that are relevant to each area. She has worked with communities to identify their goals and design development paths that reflect their unique culture and values. As a Program's Team Member at Bungalow, she focuses on creating high-quality materials that reach those seeking growth and learning opportunities. In addition to her work, she enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, and has a passion for artisan work and cooking. Trinidad holds a degree in Sociology from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. -

Program Team Member
From a small-town in Ontario, Angela has a background in Human Resources management and a love for design and photography. In her role as Program Team Member at Bungalow 968, she blends her passion with her professional experience, working closely with people and celebrating their successes through the programs we offer. She supports participants through their learning journey, provides detailed program reporting for clients and takes care of many of Bungalow's social and email campaigns.

aislinn mackay
Facilitator
Aislinn is an educational facilitator and developer with an interest in math and engineering. She has worked as a study session facilitator, designing and implementing engaging workshops and supplemental learning support to students with diverse learning needs. She approaches design and facilitation using applied principles of universal instructional design, continual improvement and scaffolding to enable a successful learning environment. She has developed content for STEM programs at the elementary school level, as well as working with Indigenous outreach organizations aimed at increasing Indigenous youth participation in STEM fields. Aislinn holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University.

Facilitator
Over the past 20 years, Jessika has worked in various management capacities in both the Corporate and Non-Profit Sectors. She has founded two of her own businesses, as well as co-creating several federally funded, community-based life skills programs. In 2016, Jessika earned her Life Coaching Certification from Integrative Wellness Academy.
Currently, Jessika is the Founder and Lead Life Coach of Glitter N’ Grace Life Coaching, is the Program Manager for Surrey SHARES - a storytelling and coaching program for Seniors, is a contracted Facilitator for Bungalow968 Employment and Life Skills training programs and is a member of the Community Mental Health Committee as an Advocate and Presenter and recently became a Published Author.

Facilitator
Karin skilled educator with over 20 years experience learning and growing as a primary grades teacher, high school teacher, outdoor educator, instructor, coach and mentor. She is a recently certified instructional designer with a passion for curriculum design and development with Indigenous communities. Karin has also recently trained in Coaching Leadership. Karin has taught a wide range of participants from diverse cultural backgrounds, neurodivergent learning styles and ranging in age from young to old. She has co-developed education curriculum with First Nations groups, championed STEM education for girls and women, taught and developed curriculum for Waldorf Schools and worked as an outdoor educator in Ontario and BC. As a Squamish resident, Karin greatly values our growing and vibrant community, as well as acknowledges the ancestral lands we work and play upon.
Karin holds a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from Royal Roads University, and Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from Queen’s University Canada.
